PuroMAG™ Silica Coated Magnetic Beads
PuroMAG™ Silica-Coated Magnetic Beads are optimized for nucleic acid binding. Silica coating effectively adsorbs DNA or RNA nucleic acids under high salt conditions. Nucleic acids can then be washed to remove impurities such as proteins and salts, and finally eluted into elution buffer or water. The eluted sample can then be used for such downstream applications as qPCR, or sequencing.
Strong magnetic core allows PuroMAG™ Silica-Coated Magnetic Beads the particles to be separated out of solution with magnets in under 30 seconds. This allows for easy processing with magnetic racks, removing the need for a centrifuge.
PuroMAG™ Magnetic bead technology can also be used with automated extraction systems for high throughput nucleic acid purification.
