PuroSPIN™ NanoElute™ Genomic DNA Purification Kit #NK361-50, #NK361-250
The PuroSPIN™ NanoElute™ Genomic DNA Purification Kit is designed to purify genomic DNA from different biological samples such as bacteria, yeast, mammalian cells, blood, and animal tissue. Our protocol allows genomic DNA to be released from cells and purified from protein, salt, and other contaminants. Our kit uses highly efficient RNase and optimized buffer formulations to ensure efficient removal of contaminating RNA.
In comparison to our standard PuroSPIN™ Genomic DNA Purification Kit, the NanoElute version of the kit is supplemented with Nano silica spin columns instead of mini silica columns. Nano columns provide the highest possible concentration of purified genomic DNA as the elution volume needed is as little as 6 μL.
The PuroSPIN™ NanoElute™ Genomic DNA Purification Kit is particulary superior to the standard kit when the amount of the starting material is very little as the addition of Carrier DNA to the purification procedure allows the successful extraction and processing of such samples.
Features:
- Easily purify genomic DNA using silica spin columns
- Simple extraction process with no need for phenol or chloroform
- Use of unique Nano silica spin columns for the maximization of concentration of the purified DNA from small amounts of the sample
- Specialized and detailed protocols for different sample types
- High-quality extracted genomic DNA can be used for a range of downstream applications such as genomic sequencing, PCR, real-time qPCR, or Southern blotting
